The MQ-4 Methane Gas Sensor Module is a high-performance gas detection module designed to sense methane (CH₄) and natural gas concentrations in the air. It uses a SnO₂ (Tin Dioxide) semiconductor sensing element that changes resistance when methane is present, providing quick and accurate readings.

The sensor is ideal for home safety systems, gas leak detectors, biogas monitoring, and Arduino-based IoT projects. It features both analog (AO) and digital (DO) outputs for flexible interfacing with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers.
